Bio: Mad, unreal, alarming, modern, inspired. These words are not enough to describe crazy guitar player and composer Emiliano Sicilia, more and more intent on knockin' down any musical barrier to start a New Reality entirely shaped by the keys of his blazing 7 strings. Born in Milan, Italy, in September 11 1977, Emiliano started getting fond of guitar and music at the age of ten and from 1988 to 1995 he devoted seven years of his young life to private lessons of classic and flamenco guitar. After reaching full mastery of his instrument Emiliano decided to give private lessons and from 17 to 24 years of age he taught many people the secrets of rock-fusion guitar, stopping his lessons only to be able to finish his last exams at the university. After graduating in History and Philosophy and achieving great live experience thanks to ten years of shows with several cover bands, he finally decided to start his solo carreer, devised to gather several music genres onto a skeleton of sounds inspired by the most visionary horror, sci-fi and cyber space movies and books.

His debut album "Devotion, Materialize" was recorded between November 2005 and April 2006 at the well known Moon House Studio in Milan, where Emiliano has been rehearsing and working for years. After releasing the promo CD "The New Reality", made of four instrumental tracks also included in his album, Emiliano got in touch with the Mantra guitar player Gianluca Galli, who is also the founder of the Horus Music label. Mister Galli committed himself to produce and distribute the CD in Italy (by Audioglobe), France (by Musea), Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg (by Rock Inc.), Germany, Switzerland, Austria (by Trendfabrik) and United States ( by Guitar9). The album was released at the beginning of June 2006.

The artist was not able to preserve any idea while writing his songs, of which he took care of all the instrumental parts and every aspect of the programming together with his friend and sound engineer Danilo 'Stonehenge' Di Lorenzo. "Devotion, Materialize" includes a real resounding mosaic of different music genres, sometimes opposed among themselves: metal, ethnic, funk, industrial, electronic, flamenco, country, folk and blues are only a few of the styles which you can possibly meet while listening to the album! Emiliano's eclectic personality reveals itself since the opening of the granitic "Cyber Room" (reserved to an alarming chainsaw!) and affects all the structures of the tracks creating many surprises, tempo changes and style variations, which are so radical and well performed to be able to leave listeners totally breathless. Initially thought to be an instrumental project only, "Devotion, Materialize" has been enriched with the presence of an incredible team of voices: Emiliano and Danilo had a lot of fun singing on some tracks together with lovely friend Pamela Manzo, the demonic singer Cristiano Re from Relaypse and the heavy metal screamer Pier Paolo Balice from Lawbreakers.

"If I had to name the musical genre I performed on the album I would name it Emiliano Sicilia Music, obviously thinking at the prevailing moments of the CD" explains Emiliano, a great lover and super reviewer of all times horror movies coming from all the countries and contributor to several websites and portals devoted to his favourite movie genre. "I recorded the guitar parts after writing and processing them without having a defined idea of the concrete results I'd have obtained: I still get surprised while listening to some of my songs!! The majority of the guitar solos were totally made up in the Studio, during some improvisation" declares the compulsive guitar player, extremely eager to let the world know about his production and musical skills and making himself available for any kind of contribution or project as performer and/or composer.
